What River Hall Country Club lacks in lakes, ponds and water hazards it makes up for it with amazing bunkers, and Oakmont-like greens. I've been wanting to play here for months and finally got a round in before all of the snowbirds arrive. This is a challenging course designed for players with a great short game. Be prepared to experience gravity-defying putting surfaces.

The golf course is good. The Caloosa Grill is mediocre. The food is ok. Decent prices. I have tried most items on the menu. The chicken on the salad was hard pellets. The hamburger tasted as if it had been cooked earlier and reheated. I am not sure where the chicken tenders were hand breaded. If you go for the special, go early. The portions get smaller as the night goes in. Or they run out as in the home cooked meal. Then they replace fried chicken with chicken tenders. If you are concerned about the virus, the kitchen staff doesn’t wear masks. Not sure the cooks are allowed to bring their kids to work in the kitchen. Hopefully they don’t make it a habit. I think they could improve the food quality and taste. River Hall-feel free to discuss anything you would like here. I don’t need to send an email.

Practice area was excellent, but overall experience was underwhelming. Course was a little boring. Only average condition, and a lot of silly rules laid out by the starter. Had to wait 10 minutes at the front gate to even get in while the security guard had a bathroom break. Quite a few other little things which add up to probably not retuning.

Loved the course, facilities, condition and personnel. The course is so we'll kept with practice balls, ice and water and full restrooms out on the course. Very top notch golf course!
