For the second day of my course I had Chris as an instructor. He was absolutely amazing!!!!! He was so knowledgeable and kept the course interesting but understood when it was time to take a break. Something that i really appreciated about him was his pacing. There is a lot of content to cover but he kept it super concise and clear when it needed to be. We even finished half an hour early and still go through all of the material. I understood every concept well and breezed through the exam. Chris is an amazing instructor and I highly recommend him!

I took my OFA 2 course here and it was one of the best decisions of my life for sure. You get to learn so many different skills that you might be able to apply in real life. Scope covers how to treat minor wounds all the way to what to do during life threatening injuries. I would especially like to thank Bonnie. She did extremely well in sharing her knowledge of OFA with us. It was equally impressive that Bonnie made sure everyone felt welcome and had a fun time in class. Highly recommend SJA Richmond for anyone pursuing OFA 2.

The instructor was kind and taught in a way that made me feel like I understood what was expected. The staff was helpful , I had to add a few more hours to meet both work and school requirements of first aid and they were able to do that for me.

I went in for industry training with other co-workers. We had Peter Ko as our instructor who made a long class manageable with humor, COVID safe hands on learning and thorough explanations. I strongly recommend this course for anyone wanting to further their knowledge even if it isn't required by a workplace.

Outr Teacher, Kevin was the best, Especially with the Covid distancing. He was able to get us all pointing our triangles in the right directions! Liz @ Amre Supply

The class that I attended was Emergency First Aid Community Care with my co workers. I’m glad that we have all passed and thoroughly learned the content but the experience was terrible. Bruce, our instructor, was not friendly the moment I walked in and when others walked in as well. It was unclear that I had to sign and collect a few papers before the course began because they were just laid out on the desk with no sign of what to do at the table. Bruce had to repeat himself several times on what do once we get in and figure out who is supposed to be registered in his class which led us to be 'behind schedule' by ten minutes. I understand how intense the course should be but it is really unnecessary for Bruce to speak to the other students in such a rude tone to the point where they feel mentally exhausted and drained especially to those who seem they speak English as a second language. Bruce’s comments can be rude especially when he would point us out to answer his questions on the spot and yelling out to us to look at his notes if we didn't know the answer or get it wrong. It would be much appreciated if Bruce's notes were typed out instead of handwritten so that it is clear for us to figure out and read. If we would do something wrong during CPR, AED or injecting a needle, his redirections are harsh and uses a lot of don’ts and no’s which is hard for us to figure out how to things correctly. I have never seen an instructor who is that impatient, ever! Thankfully me and the other students were patient and are able to support each other to get through this course. I’m not too sure if he had a bad day the night before teaching or something but the attitude he brought to the course that day was very unprofessional.
