Been working with Mark for a few years now after a car accident. Mark is very dedicated and open-minded in his approach. He takes his time to help you understand and move your body correctly. To make the most of his services, you really have to do the homework/exercises he recommends. I would highly recommend him for anyone who wants to get rid of the pain/discomfort they are experiencing.

Mark is currently helping me recover from my car accident and has done an amazing job so far. His knowledge and explanation on everything that we are doing in the session has really helped me in understanding my body and what I need to do to gain back my strength and mobility. I would definitely recommend Mark to any of my friends and family.

I had already had been undergoing rehab for 3.5 years for a car accident when I first met Mark for Active Rehab. By that time, I have had countless massage therapy, chiropractic treatments, and physiotherapy treatments. I was seeing a physiatrist, and I had seen another Kinesiologist for Active Rehab the year prior. While all these therapies had brought my healing forward, I felt that I had hit another plateau with my recovery. I have chronic neck, shoulder and upper back pain, not only from the car accident, but from years of sitting in front of a computer doing office work. I've been working with Mark for over 1.5 years, and he's gotten my body to the point where I actually go pain free for days. I never thought I would would have gotten to this point. Mark's approach is very different from any other health practitioner I've ever met. He looks at how the entire body works and how everything is interconnected. He looks for the root cause of the injury to fix; many other therapies tend to treat symptoms. Not only did he help me recover from my car accident injuries, he also help fix old knee and ankle injuries I had sustained in my 20s. I highly recommend Mark!

I’ve recently gotten a tattoo sleeve on my left arm and one of the most detailed areas was on my rotator cuff. This caused a lot of stiffness due to the constant pressure which made it difficult for me to grip with my hand. Mark helped me to release it so I can move and grip things my hand again. He is very knowledgeable and ensures that he understands the root of the problem. He also provided me with some exercises to do myself to further improve it. It is so valuable that he provides relief during his initial assessment session while also supplementing it with steps to further heal the area. I am grateful for his dedication and patience, if you are looking for someone with very high expertise please reach out to Mark

I’d been experiencing some sudden and nagging foot pain that was sharp. After a few weeks of not being able to find an adequate solution I consulted Mark. To my surprise, after just ONE virtual session, Mark was able to provide immediate pain relief. He identified the misalignment and pattern, patiently guided me through the process of how to find my center, and corrected my posture so that the issue could be resolved. By giving easy to follow instructions on proper stretches Mark not only gave me immediate pain relief, he also gave me a toolkit and maintenance regimen so that I could independently resolve the issue in the future and proactively address the issue at its source. If you’re looking for clear, concise, and professional expertise, Mark is who you’re looking for! His techniques and coaching style will benefit you whether you consider yourself a rookie & beginner to fitness or a bonafide gym rat. I highly recommend his services! An investment in yourself, your health, and with Mark is well worth it!

I had a pretty bad fall at home (there were sawdust on the floor and I had socks on) and landed on the upper left side of my body. I didn't have any bruises but had huge pains in my chest/pec area so I knew I must have sprained something. I was in pain whenever I breathed in or coughed and when the pain persisted, I knew I couldn't just leave it as as (like I normally would) to let the body heal. I had a few sessions with Mark and he was able to diagnose the issue and realigned my body in place. He was super professional and helpful and even gave me some practical exercises to do at home to continue improving my alignment. He was attentive and took the time to explain what the issue was and how my body was reacting to the different movements and exercises. Thanks Mark for making me feel like a normal person again!

Having Mark work with me on my back injury transformed my situation, reduced my suffering and improved my lifestyle long-term. My story: my back was getting worse by the day - it had been a couple weeks and was just not improving. This was scary for me: it got worse despite my best research and efforts. Coworkers recommended i speak with Mark - our friendly neighbourhood kinesiologist. This process made a huge difference in each stage. Each session allowed for work on a different layer of complications. My injury was expected to heal in about six weeks - this was reduced to less than two weeks. This included stretches and exercises that reduce injury recidivism. My family doctor was aware of the excellent work kinesiologists do, especially with hip-upslip concerns and recommended that I work specifically with this profession for my long-term recovery. Mark works with large numbers of our staff each time he visits. He is considerate, cheerful, knowledgeable, hard working and has a proven ability to reduce and remove long-standing injuries. I continue to recommend Mark to all fellow employees with any kind of work injury. Not everyone is aware of ‘kinesiologist’ support excellence. I have found a kinesiologist is far more effective than many other kinds of therapist types - in both reduction of symptoms and long-term healing.
