A place of great historical importance ...but very poorly maintained...there are no good approach roads, museum has beautiful articles, but there is no upkeep of the place. Ugly buildings all around the fort have spoilt its ambience.

This is a fort of Rewa's King. This is a nostalgic place. There's a museum named Baaghela Museum. In museum there's a skin of India's first White Tiger called ' Mohan Baagh'. There're lots of historical things as well. Museum timing is 10 am to 5 pm sharp. Tickets price may vary. Everyone should visit here at least once. There's a Mandir of Jagganath ji & Mahamrityunjay Bhagwan. There's a statue of martand singh (last King of Rewa). There are so many gods statue like Ganesh ji & Hanuman ji, krishna ji, Shakar ji, Radha krishna and many more. This fort was built in 1140 CE. There's a Royal swimming pool but that's only for the King & his family. There's a park. & Of course parking space is available too but parking has no fee at all. There're Canons under museum premises but anyone can have a look of it for absolutely free of cost. Park is filled with grasses & flowers for sure. There's a ground for school students inside Fort premises. Mandir is open from 6 am to 6 pm throughout the day. Premises is maintained very neat & clean. I'm uploading a lot of pictures so you can get better view of historical the Rewa Kila. You can take holy Prasaad & flowers from parking area. There's a holy Hawan Kund. (P.S : Photography is prohibited inside fort & Mandir area, charges may levy for braking the rules & regulations.)

The Grand View Hotel is a 250 rooms establishment in which 200 are double rooms and 50 are king bedded rooms, all includes private bathroom. The rooms are of a good size, comfortable and with different decorative styles. At present, there is a large garden and a small swimming pool in the hotel, parking space with a capacity of 120 cars is also available. On top of that, there is a restaurant which serves buffet for breakfast and lunch as well as a la carte for dinner. The lobby lounge area is fairly large which is suited to a business type of hotel. There is also a pub; however it is in poor decorative order. There were several refurbishment programs launched which included the signs replacement, renovation and redecoration of front desk, restaurant and bar. Generally speaking, the hotel is in good physical condition except the front desk. On top of that, the hotel used to redecorate 25 guest rooms each year. Consistent Standard of Excellence: We will consistently provide our guests with a superior quality product and make a conscious daily effort to be better than our competition. Personalized Guest Service: We will meet the specific meet of each guest with a professional, friendly, prompt, courteous, and enthusiastic, attitude from all the place

Needs maintanence. Construction works are going on. Nothing of much sight seeing but the sacred Maha Mrityunjaya temple inside the fort is of great significance so can visit that for sure. Rest there is not much to enjoy.

A beautiful, natural place in Rewa, this fort is very old and behind it there is confluence of two rivers, Mahamritunjaya temple is also inside the fort area.
