This is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are smaller than most hotels, and you pay a bit extra. But the view more than makes up for it. Such a beautiful sight being on the river. Being a boat, the whole place rocks a bit every time another boat goes by haha, but you quickly get used to that, and it's only really during the day. There are many places to eat and shop within walking distance which is handy. I would definitely stay here again.
Had a very comfortable and unique stay in one of the suites on the MRQ. Didn't use the bar or restaurant, but enjoyed some very good fish and chips on our 'balcony', which we purchased just round the corner. The decent-sized fridge in the room was really useful for storing food and beer we'd brought with us, and re-freezing our eski ice pack. Only minor gripes are that the bathroom was tiny (which is to be expected within the confines of a ship) and the bed was very hard.
