Awesome church worh visiting. If it is mot open you must call the number and get a guided tour around. Inside is very simple but imposing at the same time. Listen carefully the stories the guid tells you, the place is fulm of history and takes you back in time. Also very good renovated. Don't miss the roof structure and the bell tower which is separate built from the church. Higly recommend ! Entey fee 300 Huf

If you want to visit the church: go to the building on the left side (Nyírbátori Református Egyházközség). They will open the church and explain; dont know in which language, but German is also possible. Dont miss a visit! Very important place in Hungarian and Reformed church history.
Az Alföldi kéktúra keretein belül jártam Nyírbátorban, de idő szűkében sajnos csak kívülről láttam a gótikus, középkori eredetű Nyírbátori református templomot. 1480-ban kezdte el építtetni a ma is álló templomot ecsedi Báthori István erdélyi vajda. Délkeletre tőle magasodik a fából ácsolt vaskos, zsindellyel fedett harangláb. Az oldalában pedig egy Tinódi Lantos Sebestyén szobor is látható.
Gyönyörű volt a templom, megéri idegenvezetéssel látogatni, mert nagyszerűen felhívja a figyelmet sok apró és érdekes részletre.
Ez egy nagyon szépen helyreállított református templom, egyszer talán egy hangversenyre is el tudok jönni, biztos nagy élmény!
Nagyszerű vezetést kaptunk. A templom igazán egyszerü de nagyszerű. Mit tudtak az elődeink az 1600as években
Lenyűgöző a templom és a harangláb is. A sétáló innen indul. Gótikus, hatalmas templom a kenyérmezei csata sikeres győzelmére építette Báthory fejedelem. A harangláb csak fa anyagból készült. Jól karbantartott, szép állapotú. Csak egyeztetett időpontban látogatható.
A templom és a harangláb önmagukban is lenyűgöző látványt nyújtanak. Mindkettő tökéletes állapotban, felújított környezetben. A harangláb különleges, maga a templom inkább méreteivel, egyszerűségével hívja fel magára a figyelmet.
