Was paired with a group and I was unaware when booking the room. Although it may say in fine print small groups may be paired with other small groups, upon booking online it didn’t say anywhere I was booking with another group. Upon arrival I found out. They wouldn’t give me a gift card so that I could return when convenient for me. They wanted to book a new room. Now getting my money back but I have to pay for my own refund. So all in all I lost money. Customer service was unfriendly and she wouldn’t even make eye contact. I’ve never had such a bad experience. I will not be returning.
Mike posted My friend organized a “fun” night for us at this Escape Room. We have done many in Winnipeg and therefore my kids and wife were very excited. It turns out, they had a terrible experience. The Game Master had not ensured that the room was setup correctly. Three clues were missing. One didn’t even work despite the Game Master coming in to “HELP”. Thereafter, the original game master left in a huff and another man came in and “CONFIRMED” that this clue was not working. My Family and Friends left, dissatisfied. My friend had just dropped 170 and the clues were not working! The Second Game master offered us 5.00 coupons for the inconvenience! Inadequate but a nice gesture. We thought that was the end of it. Not so.... The OWNER then called my friend’s wife at home and started to berate how the first game master was treated by US! Really? The Owner of the establishment wasn’t concerned at all about her business having a poor product, the lack of concern on her employees in ensuring a functioning product... all she could do was to ruin the evening further by accusing her paying customers. All we wanted was a functioning product. Owners words after our experience.....”YOU AREN’T WELCOME BACK!” Lady...good luck with your business. If this is an example of Your business plan and your customer service....I’m pretty sure me or my friends will never be back! Finally, it’s likely not many others will want this as their Family Fun Night!
We booked a room for 6 people and only 5 could make it. They made us pay for the sixth person with the argument that the rooms could hold 8 so they would have put 2-3 extra people in the room with us if they were busy. Which they were not. At all. Other then that the room was really good. Enjoyed the puzzles.
Great time with my daughter and girls night out. The only thing I didn't like was being forced to play with strangers who hogged the clues!! For this price it should be optional to play with others. I also only wanted it my daughter and I as a team building experience.
Well-developed rooms that are complex, but not random. Great logic exercise! The staff is friendly and you can tell they love what they do. I've played all the rooms and I can't wait for more!
We've done quite a few locked rooms, this one was horrible. Some locks didn't work and even when you did find the answer they didn't give you a way to figure out the order. Once we asked for a hint, and they apologized for the poorly worded clue. Twice we asked for a hint and the person didn't know the answer or had to figure it out themselves. Room had 0 light. No sound effects. Room was in rough shape. Just overall not a good experiance for the money. Won't go back to this company.
Room was well set up and appropriately decorated. The puzzle was interesting but still challenging. Very good use of many elements. Had a lot of fun for an hour!
