Went here today for a gait analysis with a view to buying new running shoes. I immediately felt very welcomed into the shop and although the running machine was out of action, the member of staff Tom reassured me that he could still check my gait and guide me from there. After giving him a background of my running and niggles he bought out a running shoe to use as a starting point to work out my gait. Despite a very busy shop and serving other customers to ease the congestion, he saw me through the analysis and after trying a few pairs of shoes I subsequently purchased the Brooks Ghost 13's after being more than happy with the guidance and advice given. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Well, I went looking for my usual running shoe at my usual sports outlet, finding it closed permanently... A quick search on Google and Up & Running was identified. Easy to find, welcoming despite Covid restrictions, though what is more instant eye contact from the busy staff, recognition within a few seconds and even more the courtious way the staff absented their way from their current engagement and approached. Now though my needs are simple (just love BROOKS) the member of staff guided me through the more recent updates and varieties on offer. With options offered the member of staff retired a short distance and gave me time to consider, they even came back after checking availability of options. A deal was done and I bought the Ghost 13s Guys a great start to a new store, and to your staff who clearly know customer satisfaction, Thank you for your attention, good work

Great experience. I wanted to find a shoe that would reduce the time I spend injured after running, so I could train more. I went for the free gait analysis, explained a bit about how I run and the problems I was facing. The staff were friendly, talkative and helpful, and picked out some shoes for me to try. They helped talk me through what I should be looking out for, and I purchased a pair. Just finished my run expecting to be out for a few days due to shin splints, and happily I feel like I could easily manage another run tomorrow. A couple of things to consider - if you want the gait analysis, I'd recommend to try and get there at least 20-30 mins before the store closes to give yourself enough time to try on shoes afterwards. Also, I don't think this store offers budget shoes. It looks like they're focused on mid-high range, quality shoes. (They do sell other running stuff too, but I didn't look at that :) ).
