The service of Richard Aston is fabulous. We have had him doing jobs for improvements at our house twice and we have been very pleased with what he has done and the way he works. From the first contact to the end product., it has been a positive experience. Richard is knowledgeable and understands clients' needs quickly. Richard's and his assistant's work is quick and always taking care of producing as little disturbance as possible. They always leave the place clean after each working day. Richard has also been good at finding additional actions we didn't consider to improve the end product even more. We definitely recommend his work.

Richard and Joe have done a fantastic job for us. They have moved our kitchen completely from one part of the house to another, then changing the old kitchen into a downstairs toilet/shower room and a utility room. This was done by them with great ease. They have completed the work to the highest standard, and with minimum disruption to us. Their advice on what to do, what to have and where to put things has been invaluable for someone like myself who is not good at making decisions! They were here every day without fail, and as other clients have no doubt said, their working area is kept extremely clean and tidy. We are so pleased with our new rooms, and would not hesitate to recommend RS Aston Builders to anyone else.
We are delighted with the kitchen that Richard and Joe have created for us. From the first consultation to the final handover, we have been impressed with their professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Always on time; happy to deal with the inevitable unexpected findings/challenges; happy to provide opinions, but also prepared to accept our choices; and cleaned up at the end of every day (and often during the day too). Richard provided a very clear, itemised budget with his quote, which meant that we could easily track each stage and know the impact of any changes as we were going along. I have waited, literally, years to have a properly fitted kitchen and, it’s no exaggeration to say that Richard Aston and Joe have made this, virtually, a life-changing experience. Richard’s knowledge of the workings of a modern kitchen is key to how brilliantly the product is designed and fitted. They listen to what you want and how you will use the space and everything is implemented with your needs in mind. For instance, heating, lighting, and ventilation, are all remarkable accurate and discrete. The appliances are fitted to perfection and when it comes to colour and design, this is where Richard and Joe really excel. Richard’s years of experience means he knows what will work with the look of the house and the impression you aim to create in this most crucial living space. Richard and Joe fitted our bathroom at the end of last year and we love it. It’s perfect and comfortable and a massive improvement on anything that went before it. So, there was no question about who was going to fit the kitchen. Richard and Joe are absolute perfectionists and they work with electricians and plumbers, who have similar standards. Sometimes I walk into the kitchen forgetting where I am because it looks, almost, too good to be true. We were very lucky to be put in touch with R.S. Aston. When we employed Richard Aston and his crew to do the bathroom, I had very specific ideas about how I wanted it to look – the bath, itself, was 70 years old and the house was built in the 1950s. The end result has been perfect. It fits with the look of the house but has a modern edge. Richard and his colleagues did an amazing job: clean and efficient. But, above all, I cannot find a flaw in their work. Everything in the bathroom works perfectly, fits perfectly and long years in the trade mean that Richard can advise you on any aspect of your bathroom refurbishment. We are very happy with the end result.
