Great work carried out on my partners car and although it was pricey I felt the bill was more than reasonable.

Full service and MOT. Failed on emissions . They advised I take it to Volvo main dealer for engine with only 70,000 miles. How feeble, from a garage that advertises diagnostics. Took it to another garage 1 mile away the next morning and passed the emissions test without any work. Battery cover left unsecured. Accumulated 15 miles on the trip meter that cannot be accounted for. Have to say your card details in reception with other people there to pay, okay for virus protection but shame the receptionist thought she was above wearing a mask. You just lost a repeat customer.

Very poor experience and I would recommend using alternative garages. In summary, I prebooked my car in for repair. On arrival on the agreed date I went through what was wrong with the owner. He explained they would check it and advise. A couple of days later I was advised the cost and breakdown of what was needed, and I gave the go ahead, and was told it would be done the following week. After nearly a week I contacted the garage as I had not heard anything. Was told that nothing had been and it would be another two or three weeks before they could do it. I asked if anything had been done, and was told NO. I asked how did they know what was needed to rectify the fault when they had not looked at it, and was told it had been investigated, which is not possible as it was an internal fault with manifold. Told by garage to take it elsewhere. The service and communication from this garage is the worst I have ever experienced. My recommendation is that this garage should be avoided.
