Nicholsons Obelisk or Necholson Monument lies in top of Margalla hill near Margalla pass road conects to Islamabad Rawalpindi to Taxila an ancient city. Monument Built in 1868 the approximatelly 40 feet tower in the honour of Brigadier-General John Necholson, He was a Hero of four Wars in the defence of British India. Kabul 1840 1st Sikh war 1845 2nd Sikh war 1848 Sepoy Mutiny 1857.

A very monumental Marvel. Located right at the peak near Taxila bypass, overlooking B-17, Taxila and a little of Wah. The view from this place is just mesmerizing. Has a little space on the top for a little picnic too. Would definitely recommend visiting.
