Nice big selection of plants and rodents. Few birds. Few rabbits. Good collection of tropical fish but not coldwater.
My daughter bought two fish at 20 each and one died within 24 hours. We were asked to return it and a sample of my tank water. After testing my tank water the staff told us we had an ammonia spike and they would not replace the fish. I tested my tank as soon as I returned home with the exact same test kit they used and the ammonia levels were fine, as were all the water parameters. (I am very fussy with my tanks and I've been keeping fish for over 30 years.) I will not be buying from RC&E again.
I go hear for my fish supplies and I have to say the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always have stuff In stock I would not go anywhere else for my stuff. To top of a great visit go to the cafe which has a fantastic range of food and cake. Also there is a small kids area that keeps the little one quite while I have a slice of cake with the wife what more do you want perfection.
very few pets and prices on website were very misleading ...pets were pets were far more than on website. At the gift shop, a woman at the til looked at myself and my partner as if we were something she had stood in. Will not be recommending or visiting again.
