I began training with Peter by recommendation, to program and coach my strength and conditioning requirements as part of my preparation for the demands of officiating elite level sport. No stranger to a high-performance environment, off the bat I was impressed by the holistic approach Peter takes with his clients, through careful individualised programming, specific and timely feedback, and consistent check ins to gauge performance and recovery levels. He is not only aware of my short and long-term goals, but he keeps me focused on the outcomes that will help me achieve them. Peter has played an integral role in my season preparation, recently taking on my sprint and agility programming and coaching, to complement the strength sessions he plans and facilitates. On the field, I have found Peter to be knowledgeable, detailed, and encouraging whilst providing comprehensive correction and feedback. He consistently demonstrates his coaching is backed in research and science, as he regularly provides context and explanation for the individual elements that he programs. I have complete confidence in his ability to prepare me for the requirements of the domestic season, tournaments, test series, and major events. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete to anyone who has a physical goal, whether athlete or otherwise; I can absolutely guarantee he will get you there, with a heap of laughs along the way.

He has helped me regain full mobility and strength in that area allowing me to return and be productive on the field. I highly recommend Activ8 Performance - Peter Mamo for anyone who is ready to make a positive lifestyle change. Pete is the best trainer I have had in my 20 years of training. During our sessions, he is extremely encouraging and knowledgeable about training, fitness, nutrition and overall body health. If I come into a session with a sore muscle, for example, Pete knows all the right exercises to ensure that muscle tension is eased and we activate the muscles around it. Pete is motivating and fun to work with, ensuring that I understand what each program entails and why. Best in the business, knowledgeable, caring and tough. I started with Pete at 140kg and now im 114kg in 5 months of training. Im playing better footy, recovering quicker and making plays week in and week out. If you want to go fast, look else where. If you want to go far, train with Pete.
