Great session taking my nephew climbing, good mix of top ropes available and auto belays meant I could climb too. Covid measures all clearly explained and climbers following them.

Nice place, very well kept, hand sanitizer stations everywhere, helpful friendly staff. Better if you take the time to fill in the registration online before arriving to save yourself time, if you’re new to this place. I only used the Bouldering and Bouldering Training areas whilst here today, so I can’t speak for the other areas- Bouldering sections had a nice selection and variety of routes, with difficulties (V-Scale) clearly identified by Hold colour. I went as far as V5 today, and the scaling seemed about right. Recommended if youre nearby, e.g. staying in the premier inn down the road.
The staff are kind, helpful and funny. It is easy to book and get to with a car park next to the building. There is a good variety of climbs from autobelays, bouldering, top rope and lead climbing walls. There are over 70 climbs and they get changed every month or so, so you get a good range of different things to climb.
Great local wall but relatively small and expensive compared to Red Goat in York or any of the walls in Leeds. However, they do provide top roping, lead and auto belay which the others don't. Great people on staff and always happy to help
Great for me and my son's first time, the lady who showed us the ropes was very keen and very confident. Me and my son are definitely interested in going back, my son wants to reach the tops
