Had a fantastic time for a friends birthday! We had a large group that was split into the two games and had a little competition. Even though my group lost, I had a fantastic time. Riddles and clues weren’t simple, but not unsolvable either. Definitely recommend.

Just went tonight, and immediately after felt compelled to give a review! And I never ever ever do that. This place has some amazing puzzles. We only did "Catch Me If You Can", and apparently that was the harder one of the two. I got such great vibes from the place and the people in charge of it, and I felt so challenged by the puzzles. Thank you for showing us a good time. I'm not from the area, but I get the vibe that Total Confinement hasn't been around very long. I hope to hear so many success stories about Total Confinement in the future. Here's hoping there will be new puzzles when I come to Massachusetts next time! In short, great puzzles, great people, well worth it.

In short, it's okay. If you've done other escape rooms and have experienced some really intricate, high-quality adventures with complex puzzles and electronic components(Wicked Escapes & Boda Borg spring to mind)...then this place will underwhelm you. If you're new to such things and are looking for something local and fun to do, go for it! For us - we didn't get to meet this 'Aaron' that everyone else raves about. We're pretty sure our guide was a part-time teenager - he barely spoke and didn't really know what to suggest to us for hints (we had to guide him through what we already did). I don't really hold that against them though, I think we were the only group booked for that day, so I get it. We did 'Kidnapped', and room itself is pretty basic - the puzzles are all really simple in terms of complexity, which is not to say all of them are easy. Some were fairly difficult, though mostly because they didn't make a whole lot of sense. Everything ultimately came down to locks and keys, which are fine as a support but really don't feel like they should be the primary driving feature. The decorations were largely sticker-based, which seems a bit funny as it would be pretty easy/cheap to find used lumber and make the inside look like an actual shack. I'll likely still come back to do the other room at some point. It's still a fun little activity to do, and we live right up the road so it's easy, but I wouldn't let all the raving five-star reviews get your expectations too high.

My team and I had the best experience at Total Confinement! Aaron was awesome. Super fun yet professional (hard to pull off....). We split into two team - Kidnapped and Catch Me If You Can. I highly recommend this to EVERYONE, young and old. I will absolutely go back and hope to do at least two rooms next time!

Host was fabulous! Rooms were great! So creative, hard enough for adults and kids alike! We had 2 groups of 8 in separate groups go in 2 different rooms at the same time and see who could escape the fastest... Such a fun night! Would highly highly highly to anyone looking for a fun night or a group looking for team building event. Will take my teens for a birthday party and Girl Scout troop back for sure! He is expanding upstairs with more rooms opening very soon too! Excited

I BEYOND loved this. Was my husbands birthday. we enjoyed this. Aaron is hilarious and warm, his family is lovely. I felt like family immediately and cannot wait for the new rooms. We talked about it all night, and planned group outings we intend to host here. If you're looking for team building exercises? THIS IS THE PLACE. I wish them all success.

We had an absolute blast. Not only was the act of escaping the room fun, but the owner, Aaron, who guides you through the adventure, was a great guy with tons of personality and a fantastic sense of humor. The scenario we played was one where my partner is captured in a cage (literally handcuffed in a cage) and I had to, not only free them, but escape the room before the villain returns. It wasn't too hard or too easy and the variety of types of puzzles/clues was very entertaining and satisfying. I highly recommend this experience and fully believe it was worth every cent.

I went a couple of weeks ago for my friends birthday and we had a blast! Not only was it great to find this hidden gem near us, but Aaron was so nice. He really made us feel comfortable about everything and assured us that we would figure it out. Total Confinement definitely puts your intelligence and team work skills to the test. I HIGHLY suggest anyone to come here. I'm going again, that's for sure!
