So this Thursday, my wife and I decided to put our teamwork to the test. After all, teamwork makes the dream work! I think the first thing to mention because it's the big elephant in the room, the COVID precautions used are fantastic! It's clear to see that Escape Hunt is taking the safety of their guests and employees very seriously, which is great to see. And now to the experience itself. We got ourselves booked into Our Finest Hour. This was my second go at an escape room and my wife's first. Our Game Master was Phoebe, and from the moment we walked in she made us feel welcomed and excited to get started. And the way she was able to come across as HQ, with a flair for dramatics and 1940s pizzazz, definitely made the experience entertaining from start to finish! The room itself was a lot of fun, indeed a challenge in parts (especially when it came to the colour puzzle!). We thankfully managed to scrape out alive with a mere 1:26 left on the clock. It was also lovely that Phoebe was just as excited and thrilled that we had made it; it did feel like she was part of our team! All in all, it was a great evening from start to finish, and my wife and I agreed it was the most fun date night we've had ever because you're getting to use your brain. So I highly recommend Escape Hunt. Please give it a go! You'll have a blast and enjoy it a whole lot. We're already planning on tackling a few more rooms soon and maybe even getting our kids involved on the fun! Thanks, Escape Hunt. And huge thanks to Phoebe!

Very well designed and thought out escape room. We did the 'worlds collide' room. The puzzles were challenging but not so difficult to make it frustrating. Staff were very professional and friendly. They put a lot of effort into making the whole experience really fun. The waiting area is cosy and comfy with a well stocked bar. Still quite expensive at 30 pp though.
Dived into Our Finest Hour last week, and had an excellent time; our host Luke explained how things worked for this one (much more puzzle based than others!) and I'm proud to say that we completed it with just under 10 minutes left, and made it onto the scoreboard! The props, layout and mix of puzzles was excellent, we managed to stump ourselves once or twice by trying to be too clever (damn those nazis!) but it was thoroughly enjoyable. I really can't say enough about how good the themes are at Escape Hunt (we've also done The Fourth Samurai there!) Chin up chaps, we'll bring the codes home!
Amazing time! My husband and I did the ‘Our Finest Hour’ room and honestly it was so much fun! But all credit goes to Niki! She was excellent from the get go. She put us in the right frame of mind. Thank you so much Niki you were fantastic!!! It was defo challenging but so worth it. Can’t wait go back and do a different room!
This was our first time in an escape room. The game lasted an hour and the concierge was brilliant at her role. We played the Samurai game which was quite entertaining and kept us thinking throughout the experience. This is a good activity for team building and is fun if you like solving puzzles. We are already planning on booking into the other games they have there. I personally would enjoy a longer than 1 hour escape room, but the rest of our team thought it was the right length. The hour whizzed past with the amount of activities we had to work through and nobody in our party of 6 ever found themselves with nothing to do. Well done Escape Hunt!! On a side note if you are travelling by car, there is an extremely reasonably priced NCP car park (especially in the weekend) very close by.
