Amazing to see and feel the place where pre-Norwegians held out 8000 years ago
Very cute, stunning cave in a very random, remote place in Randaberg. It was a little tricky finding the place, but I had the help of google maps! The parking area is extremely small, probably only rolm for 3-4 cars and I think that parking lot is actually meant for people who live in the area. There is a board that shate information about the cave at the entrance. The cave is very small and is surrounded by stunning nature. Who would think that 20 people lived in this area thousands of years ago?
Great place for a short trip
I would love to give 1* but I'll make it 2* just be of the history behind this place. Otherwise it's just tiny cave with some grass in front. Not worth the visit.
Really small location, but with interesting archeological information available and worth visiting for a small visit. If you want to explore you can go on the rocks on the edge of the sea (close to the abandoned military outpost building) and see the so called “cup marks” on the floor... have a guess on what the people were thinking when they made them ;)
Good info, easy to find
Beautiful location dating from the stone age.
