Its okay but not the best food. The store is clean and there is a good service.
The chips are nice but the customer service is going downhill. Was left waiting in the street while delivery orders were prioritised. Then the girls smirked and rudely banged my food down on the counter. Pride comes before a fall.

RUDE STAFF. The staff were incredibly rude multiple times we’ve been there. They spoke about myself right in front of me to each other. They’ve gotten many orders of ours wrong. Shame as the food isn’t actually bad, it’s just the staff that work there have ruined what was quite a good chip shop. I can assure you whomever works there won’t even take this into account. Please change your staff to people who are genuinely friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do because they don’t care and are ruining your business.

Put an order in, via Deliveroo, for some scampi (2 serves), chips and ice cream. Deliveroo order reference was #4481. Order confirmed at 18:28 for a 19:20 delivery. Quite a wait, but it’s a Friday night and weather not great so going to take some time. Expected delivery time comes and goes. Tried calling restaurant at 19:30, impossible to reach via phone as either engaged or rings out. Contacted Deliveroo at 19:42 and was told to wait another 20 minutes. At 20:02, still nothing. Tried calling restaurant again and contacting Deliveroo to cancel. Nothing. Gave up, cooked our own dinner. Then, just after 20:30, a delivery driver rocks up with the order! Which went straight in the bin, except for the ice cream. What a waste of time, effort and money. Now Deliveroo tells me a refund (partial or full) not possible.
Very disappointed, chips were only warm the fish was more batter than fish but the most upsetting was the staff didn't wear masks, the justeat driver wasnt wearing a mask and neither was a customer. Threw the food away.
