This is a great place for dogwalking. Easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The views across Pegwell Bay are amazing and it's interesting to see all the wild flowers.

If you can get past the abundant amount of concrete that was the landing area for the hovercraft you might be surprised at the beauty the area has. With clifftops to shelter from the harshest winds and distant views of the river stour as it meets the sea the site has a charm that's individual and quite unique. Great dog walking area.
One of the oddest places you'll ever visit. Now all overgrown however the car-parks and landing sites are all recognisable.
Austere building site, not sure what’s going up. But a new focus on nature would be welcome to save it from a housing estate or anti social behaviour. Sad such a site was left in such a way.
Not much left to see, apart from the concrete aprons where the monster HoverSpeed (previously HoverLloyd) craft used to start and finish their channel crossings. Many memories of using that fast, if noisy, mode of transport in the early 80s. A very smooth crossing unless it was stormy, when it was awful!
Great place to walk your dog and the cafe which opens about April has good food and the parking is free.
Nice to take a walk there
Shame it's not in use, but great for a walk. Sam
