As we were driving down Meridian at about 145th I started to smell the most amazing BBQ ever... Now I'm a bbq person. So when we saw the smoke there was no doubt about flipping a U at the corner... Inside the place looks feels n smells clean. Face mask being worn the owner is super friendly.. I had the Brisket sandwich with baked beans n Potato salad with a cornbread.. OMG so much meat on the Sammy I had to eat it for lunch n dinner... Was amazing... Everything taste as if I was back with Grandma n Grandpa on the farm.. The Ribs..... WOW ok yummy.. made me mad we only got a small order of that.. if you want some good ol down home BBQ get over here and get some... Even tho the drive may take me 30 min or more to get there I can't wait to go back... The cornbread man.... Has that ok skool cornbread flavor... Make you wanna slap yo mama...I can't say enough about how good that was... Thank you for the best lunch/dinner I had in a long while... Now everybody is opening you gonna be mad if you don't get on over to Po-Boy's Bar-B-Q... Gets a 15 out 10 my friend.......

DE-LICIOUS! Home cooking! In house smoked meats. You can even bring meat to have smoked! IE turkey and ham.
Ordered the family platter! Cant beat the price. Food was nice and smokey, meat fell off the bone, non of it was fatty or overcooked. All the sides were yummy. Corn bread is a little on the dryer side but not bad. Warmed it up and added butter and walaah. Customer service A, kind and friendly, inviting. We are stuffed and ready to pass out! Thank you, we will be back!
Smoked brisket. Sauce not required if you are a purist (meat only) or sweet and tangy. My favorite sides are beans and potato salad.
Hands down the BEST BBQ since I left Texas 8 years ago! I couldn't stop eating. Meat is smoky and tender, coleslaw on point. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. My belly and my pure joy thank you!
