Unbelievably after all my complaints and poor review of this company 20 minutes before my supposedly cancelled appointment, I still get a text saying that the valuer will be coming to my address at 11. They can’t keep using the following excuses - 1/ We are very busy 2/ It’s a IT issue 3/ It’s due to Covid !! Come on Farrell Heyworth sort yourselves out

I have been looking for a property to rent in Preston for a few months now, and Farrell Heyworth are by far the best letting agency I've dealt with. I have spoken to 4 people @ Farrell and every single one have been amazingly helpful and we found a property after a few days of looking and they've been so responsive and great throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Farrell to anyone, thank you for all your help :)
I have already sold my house and am a cash buyer, but I have moved the money into different bank accounts due to financial safety reasons. Farrell Heyworth would not let me view a property without first being able to show I had all the funds available in one account, so I am unable to view any of their properties that are for sale. Are the various property owners aware that they could potentially be missing out on a sale?
I tried to book a viewing for a property but they first told me i need to do an online viewing and see if we like the property. The online viewing comprised of a shoddy video made by amateurs and i would not really call it a viewing. Anyway, we were still interested in the property so i called the agent and asked if we could book a traditional viewing. I am a cash buyer and i was told that i cant view the property without showing proof that i have the cash ready. What a ridiculous notion!!! i have viewed several properties recently with other agents and not one has asked me for proof of funds, so why is Farrell Heyworth being so awkward. Moreover, why would i view a property if i know i cant afford it. Its simple maths, i either have the cash or i do not, its not like a mortgage where there is a chance it may be rejected. Absolute shocking service from these people and i would advise everyone to stay well away. In this difficult climate, they are making things tougher for buyers and i cannot believe they are turning potential buyers down. STAY WELL AWAY!!!
Very poor and disorganised service. I’m a cash buyer and spent time in the penwortham office providing proof of funds and details of what I was looking for. They e mail me details of a house I’d tried to view days before but was told was under offer, then a property I’d tried to view 9 months ago was relisted at 4pm Saturday (when they close). No attempt to contact me as an interested buyer , phone not answered at 4.01pm, and I now have to wait till monday to try and get through. Generally it takes 30 minutes to get through on the phone.
