Richard Mercer's ability to pass on his professionalism in a simplified manner is extraordinary. I have had lessons every year for the past three years with Richard and there has been immediate positive results. In all cases my handicap reduced and had more confidence in my swing. He provides a sound routine for preparing shots and overall it provides an "edge". Where the lessons are conducted is ideal for concentration and enhances the overall experience. I have continued to know Richard for over 25 years after my first lesson back in the early 90's and have continued to have lessons from him ever since. Having known RIchard for that long, I know he has a great understanding of the golf swing and realises that each person's swing is unique. He can rebuild your swing from scratch if you desire or work with you to create the best results for your own swing depending on the type of golfer you want to be, how much time you have to spend practising and what you want to achieve in golf. Richard's teaching can help anyone get to your golfing goals and more importantly, enjoy golf again when your shots are going sideways! I found his teaching to be simple to understand and easy to implement and Richard simplifies everything for us average golfers to take in and his advice is outstanding on what you need to do improve in your all round golf game. He will let you know what you need to focus on to improve. Richard got me to a low of 7 from an 18 handicap which was no easy task and all the time encouraging and following up offering support along the way well after the actual lesson was over via phone and email. I fully recommend Richard's teaching methods. Your lesson will be full of improvements to your swing and all round game. But, the best part is, it will be a very enjoyable learning experience in a great environment from a great teacher! John E
