A fabulous piece of Victorian Gothic Renaissance architecture once the heart of one of the world's busiest docks, now the heart of a revived Cardiff Bay, thank goodness this wonderful building wasn't demolished by the town planning hooligans during the 1970s as was suggested at the time. Well worth the 5 stars I have given to this building.

Stunning views of the Pierhead out looking the Cardiff Bay. Ensure to wrap up warm as it can be breezy and cold. Many restaurants nearby, including Italian, Indian, Mexican, American gourmet and dessert parlours.

What a sensational building! Built of stunning red terracotta brick. Gorgeous coloured tiles, interesting artefacts and mosaics. Really friendly and helpful staff. Disabled access friendly with a lift available for getting to display galleries upstairs.
