Very good location and plenty of seating outside. White wine was warm but was rectified with some ice. Good selection of ales. Had the fish and chips which of course is at a premium but was very well prepared. Given the sun was out in the late evening was very happy to pay for it. I found the service to be very good. One point of criticism, however. Although there was plenty of hand sanitiser and good social distancing I think I was the only one who registered for track and trace via the QR code. I was there for a few hours and I didn't notice any other table registering so not sure what the point of track and trace is at this premises.
WOW I can't recommend this fantastic restaurant enough, the service is 10* the food was in a league of its own. A extremely friendly welcoming place. Honestly if I could give more than 5* I would. A billion percent of perfection and class. I ordered the 28 day matured fillet steak... The knife glided through it like butter. And my partner had moules marinade(mussels) he really enjoyed them and said a very generous portion. I think what I can't get over enough is how excellent the service is, it 100% makes the experience a fantastic one. VERY VERY VERY WELL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF
Undoubtedly the best burger that I've eaten. Burger meat cooked to perfection with homemade relish. I should have taken the photograph before trying the burger as it was well presented.
Great location on the seafront of Torquay, with lovely sea views. Good menu choices although we only had coffees, which were very nice. Good to see all staff wearing visors and Track and Trace measures were in place. Really liked the fact that each table had a buzzer for you to press when you were ready to order or pay the bill so staff could come to your table.
