We bought one of these vans used and the poor workmanship of the conversion was incredible. Umderneath was chopped up and rusting. Wheelchair ramp was flopping back and forth. Looked like someone did the conversion in their backyard. Everything down to the carpeting. This van only had 40k miles but had so many problems related to the conversion it wasnt worth it any longer. Even the fuel tank had issues. I would never buy one of these fly by night conversion vans again from VMI.

Poor craftsmanship on paint quality where modifications for the lift have been made to the body, rust and corrosion are an issue. Plastic body parts not designed for sub zero temperatures, panels crack and break when frozen. Rear inner fenderwells are very poor quality, piece of sheetmetal and a couple screws to cover the lift install. Poor customer support after purchase. Road noise is awful!

On 23 July, finally after 3-4 months took possession of a 2019 Chrylser Pacifica Limited from Ocean conversions in Fort Meyers Fl.. First time dealing with this dealer and though took a long time to get it, the salesman Pushed to get our trade in, 2016 Town and country limited and difference in money with out the th2019 not being ready. There were issues with it and also a driver transfer seat was added and there was a gapping hole in front of the driver seat. Very, very dangerous as I have ALS. As with some reporting, terrible road noise, it has 6,000 miles on it and it has rust forming by both side doors. I took it back to dealer again and again, from 23 July 2019 in a 38 day stretch, I did not have my handicapped new 2019 VAN for 23 days due to poor construction, no insulation in sliding doors thus noise comes from road into Van, spots all inside, Foam fron insulation when VMI cut the front that blew and blew out of the defroster, it was out of alignment, so appears VMI does not have the alignment done after Van is cut apart. There is no sound proofing under neather the VAN though VMI states that when they get done with their conversion, it is just like it orinally was. NOW the big item, VMI ships a brand new never registered Van to a dealer with out the MRSP. I asked for it and only got a very small 11 x 9 copy which can hardly read. Per Federal law, only the original owner can take this sticker off. I filed a complaint to the Federal Trade commission but as typical government agency, never heard anything back. Any one can research this and anyone getting a new VMI van can refuse to accept the new Van if MRSP not on window. Braun was doing same thing but now they leave MRSP on window. Summary, I will never get a VMI Van agin. Poor quality work. VMI charges full MRSP yet buy them as fleet vehicles which I would say was 40% of MRSP so they are really socking it to those of us that need a handicapped Van. Gary S Jones Englewood Florida-

Purchased a brand new Honda oddesey with. vmi conversion in 2012 for my disabled daughter. There were initial problems with the ramp , wind noise and the doors. Over the past couple of years we brought it to dealership numerous times to have repairs made. We have come to find out that the entire chassis that was installed has been rusting out. vmi started to replace it via a third-party in our area however repairs are still not done to our satisfaction and we have a vehicle that is not reliable to transport our daughter . There is still rust on the vehicle it prevents doors and opening and closing properly and it is visible all over the chassis. We keep trying to get the problem rectified and keep getting bounced between VMI and the dealer. when you make an almost 80,000 investment in transportation for your child you expect it to be reliable and to last so far this is doing neither with no help in sight.

Went for a job interview, my skill set wasn't what they were looking for but I was very impressed. A well engineered and executed operation.
