My Mother's Stannah stair lift was fitted over 10 years ago - it has been reliable & essential for her having been able to stay in her house for so long. Its been a great product and I'd recommend Stannah. Engineers have always attended promptly too when required. A couple of small 'buts' though: 1. Fairly recently she had a call out because her lift was no longer working. It was simply because the on/off switch had been turned off accidentally. The bill had a couple of zeros for 30 seconds work. It seemed a bit harsh on a 'confused' pensioner who'd been a loyal client for many, many years. Yes, the engineer had been called out and it wasn't his fault, time to cover, etc...but a little discretion on the invoice would have been appreciated. 2. When the moment comes to remove the stairlift anything more than about 5 years old has no value, in fact you'll be charged for removal. I've already been quoted 150 - Stannah verbally quoted 200. Again, having paid for the lift & then diligently to have it serviced every year & pay for parts as needed for over a decade, it would have been fabulous if there was a free or, more realistically, a cheaper than other companies 'loyalty' price for removal.

Don't know if you really want this. But it took several attempt to get a reply to my email and even then they did not answer my question only told me how much a service engineer visit would cost
