The Doctors are lovely but you really have to advocate for yourself here if you want to make it a personal experience. There is no reason why we should get cycled through multiple doctors, instead of just sticking to one. As I mentioned- I reached out to the Doctor I have had the most care from, and do my best to schedule with her. As far as scheduling goes- I've been on the phone for 45 minutes just trying to make a single appointment. The scheduling department needs training and help. The Navy Yard has been my favorite place to see my Doctor- but unfortunately they don't have ultrasound there so I have to go into the city. I wish that could change!! The Doctors are lovely and the techs are great, but the two stars is really for scheduling.

I’ve never ever had an issue with Jefferson OB/GYN over the past 2 1/2 years until today. Carol who works in the scheduling department at the Chestnut St location should be fired. Empathy was at a zero. Helpfulness was a zero. All around terrible. She kept trying to push me off to get help elsewhere. What she failed to realize is that Jefferson OB/GYN is my doctor’s office and regardless of how small she thinks my issue is, it’s obviously important to me. She did not try to accommodate me what so ever. My one complaint probably won’t her her fired but, she needs to be. Or get trained again on how to be empathetic.

The doctors/midwives are nice in person, but you don't end up with a personal relationship with anyone - you end up seeing a different doctor each time you visit. Communication is terrible - calling is very frustrating and you end up on hold for a long time - pretty terrible when you're pregnant and experiencing an emergency.
