I get questioned every time I go into the mosque compound !!! I am a Caucasian woman with a small baby. It is too hot to wait in the car for my husband to finish his prayers. I also was not allowed to wait outside the “men’s” praying room with my baby on 39 degree very hot day. I do not like that women’s room is beneath the man. We are equal. You are putting your mother below your feet? I pray next to my husband not beneath him in a separate area, not behind him.

I cannot believe this masjid is older than the University of Australia! Masha Allah. So peaceful praying in this oldest masjid in Westerm Australia. Alhamdulillaah.

One of the oldest mosque in Australia. Excellent community.
Amazingly peaceful place on the outskirts of the city. A short walk from wherever you happen to be. Worth the trip to unwind and relax for a few minutes before going back to you busy life.
