I've considered applying once in 2018 and couldn't get a straight answer about if all my credits would transfer from Amber Redmond the advisor. I considered applying again in 2020 and while speaking to 'Doug' in admissions he didn't understand anything what I was talking about and everything I said he was confused. A portion of the conversation was about explaining my experiences with incivility with other schools. He expressed he was confused about the concept of incivility and continued to dig and dig and I tried to explain to him multiple times essentially that I wasn't calling for all of that. It was excruciating and uncomfortable. Nawt Nterested.

I love being a student at Penn state world campus! Best decision I have ever made. I am a transfer student from a community college and I can say that the professors at Penn take education more seriously. I'd highly recommend the world campus to anyone who doesn't want a full collage experience or just wants to save some money and get a higher education!

Best decision I ever made was pursuing a Masters Degree at Penn State University via Penn State World Campus. Being a Penn State University alum, getting a masters degree from a great school such as Penn State University.....beyond awesome!! Challenging and rewarding at the same time!!

If you are the type of student that is selfmotivated and personally on top of your stuff then you will likely excel in and enjoy the World Campus experience. Likewise if you need to have a flexible schedule, the World Campus can accommodate people with busy lives. But if you need a professor to walk you through the process of being a student on a frequent basis, or if you are just someone that learns best by direct interaction then this is not for you. The staff and professors I experienced have been excellent, with little exception. I have had experience with another online education program from a respected private university, and I can easily say Penn State does it much better. I would highly recommend it, with the caveat that you are a student well suited for online learning.
