The owner of the company was very responsive and easy to work with. I did not move certain items due to a change in circumstance and sure enough I was not charged, without even having to point it out. They are an honest, hardworking, family-run company. Some of the movers tended to be lazy and not put things where they were asked to...they would just drop it anywhere when we weren't looking. I suggest they have a clear \leader\ of each move and that all the workers be expected to do exactly what the leader instructs, without question, promptly and professionally. Still, the move went well, and I would use this company again.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the worst moving company you can ever hire. A nightmare we are experiencing even three months after the move. We moved from Randolph NJ to Pennsylvania. We are still missing items. Boxes that were marked fragile were stacked on top of one another in such a way that they buckled and collapsed, creating damage. We found broken pieces of furniture that were hidden by the moving team. They left cigarette butts all over both locations as well as garbage, empty cans etc. They placed a dresser in the wrong place giving no access to the drawers. We had asked for them to leave the generator when they load the truck, however at the end of the process we realized they loaded the generator as well (which was included in the sale of the home and had to stay). Tim became irate and rude refusing to unload the generator saying it would take him 20 minutes to unload it and load the rest of the stuff again. Money was held in escrow until Peers returned the generator which they did that night, however we were unable to reach anyone in the company, Tim or Sheila ALL DAY and get a straight answer. DO NOT USE THEM, YOU WILL REGRET IT. The pictures are a piece of our Tempurpedic bed which we found hidden behind a dresser next to it by the Peers guys, and pictures of the dresser that we still don't have access to because of the way it was placed and we cannot move it three months later...

From initial estimate to the completion of the move, Peers was amazing. They were extremely responsive to emails and calls; price quoted was very fair and the customer service and professionalism of the office and moving team was exceptional. Friendly, helpful, hardworking and efficient. They did a wonderful job and we highly recommend their moving services.

We used Peers for a second move and in spite of the awful weather the move went smoothly. The crew that moved us was upbeat and could not have been more accommodating and treated our belongings with exceptional care! Wrapping every item to ensure it was protected from the rain. Even ensured my hardwood floors were protected. Our family; parents, in-laws, nieces and brothers have been using Peers for 25 years and never disappoints!
