Passion Pools Crooks that \Rob Peter to Pay Paul.\ They are extremely horrible with communication, staying on task, dishonest and lack integrity. Mel told me 1-week before project completion (6 months into it), and for the first time that he was over budget... Definitely was not the case as the project was all-inclusive in the binding contract. Also note that every installment I paid was on time and he cashed the check, in most cases, same day. I should had taken all the negative comments seriously - as I have become one of the victims. Most to the positive reviews are probably from family and friends from years ago (do your research), His track record continues to repeat itself and it's unfortunate. A three (3) month project turned into 7 months - started in Jan 2019. We are now in July... A whole entire season of great weather has come and gone, and my kids are left to look at a muddy backyard with a big whole in the middle...! Mel has now left me with over an estimated 15k of work to be done!! I have extensive pictures, video and communication history to fully back up my claim! Any \GOOD\ review you see from them are DEFINITELY from family or friends! Potential buyer (victims) you've been warned!

I hired Melvin Sanders to build a pool and I came home one evening to see dirt exceeding the area where he was supposed to build a retaining wall. I called him and got no answer, so I texted him that the he was getting too close to my plants, and he should have built the wall first. The following day I came home to see that he had pulled some of my plants out of ground; stuck them under the deck and covered hydrangea with dirt all up against my house. I thank God that he and his uncouth family members weren't there at the time, because I had evil thoughts in my mind. To think that he would ignore me and proceed to reshape my yard was callous and very disrespectful. I later learned that he didn't plan to build a retaining wall (which is on the drawing) and he don't haul dirt that he digs out to build a pool away. For him not to let a customer know that before he gets the contract is madness. I told him on the phone that he could only resume working on the pool after he removes the dirt. I monitored my camera the following day and saw him creating two huge piles of dirt in another area. I rushed home and when I got there I asked him to come aside and to talk with me, and he told me that he was busy. I then briskly walked to my truck and he and his crew hurriedly left my yard. To say that he is unprofessional is an understatement.

I wouldnt give these guys one star. Thats one star too many. A year ago he started on a 4-5 weeks job. 5 months later with terrible paving, a pool with a constant leak and a pool that isnt level. Terrible communication and not a very honorable man. I wouldnt trust Chris at all.

On 3 occasions I've used Passion pools to perform some of the most difficult tasks in my construction business. I can definitely appreciate an aggressive businessman who applies himself and his companies resources to get the job done regardless of the difficulties of the task at hand. Thank you Mel Sanders!!!

The owner of this company is unprofessional and was hired to poor concrete for our pool. Informed us that they would be able to do the job, but only framed around the pool and never showed back up to complete the job. Melvin lied repeatedly and said we are coming Monday, then Friday then next week. Buyers beware! This company is owned by Melvin Sanders and his wife Evelyn Sanders and this business is a fraud.
