Brilliant pasta, a specially with seafood. Free starter at beginning was a nice extra. Good and fast service( fast service is quite rare on Sicily ) Decoration and atmosphere of place is similar to other Palermo Osterias. Meal prices were average, wine a little bit overpriced. We need to fill COVID-19 forms and there was online menu.

Best experience ever during our last trip to Palermo, the pistachio pasta with prawns is the taste to heaven. The pastas were perfect. Just come by when u are around and try the pastas. The fish was also great. The prices are fair and the staff friendly.
Food was good, but too expensive for what it was. Staff’s english was great! That’s rare in Italy
In total, during our Sicily holiday we visited eleven restaurants across multiple cities and Osteria Pane e Alivi was one of the better ones - we had starters and pasta with a great wine (Milazzo MC). The outdoor seats are very nicely located, the service can be improved a little bit. In summary, a very good restaurant with recommendation.
