I always new I had a creative side, but didn't know how to nurture it. With Carolyn's exceptional knowledge, she has supplied me with all the fundamentals to confidently create paintings far beyond my expectations! I can't praise her enough about her expertise, patience, and approach to Art that allows me personal growth. Carolyn presents you with all the tools you need for the exploration of your artistic side...color ,composition,value, harmony and perspective are just some of the fundamental principles I've learned. My regular art classes were canceled due to COVID-19, but a friend knew someone who was taking some some private classes online with Carolyn and I decided to try it out. Now that I have, I think it's much better than being a single face among many! I'm improving so much with the one-on-one feedback and suggestions that I'm getting and Carolyn is such a kind, funny, and personable woman that I don't feel intimidated at all, even though my skills aren't where I'd like them to be. She's also extremely flexible with scheduling - with the shelter-in-place orders and with kids in the house 24/7, I can't always meet at the same time every session, but she lets me choose what works best for me which is another thing I don't get with regular classes. I'll definitely continue taking classes with her even after life returns to normal. Thanks Carolyn!
Carolyn is so patient and kind! I was never able to finish a painting before because I always got stuck but Carolyn helped me work through it! She makes painting so understandable and fun! Wonderful teacher!
