We spent a fantastic few hours here. There were plenty of opportunities to handle and stroke the birds. The children enjoyed the fairy door & wildlife hunt for a chocolate treat at the end. The staff were knowledgeable and great with the kids. Hot drinks and snacks were available in the shop and the prices were super competitive. The entrance fee however was considerably more than what is advertised on the website; 2 adults and 2 kids cost us 30, not 16 as advertised on the website. That said, it was worth 30 so no complaints from us - our 6 year old loved having an owl perched on his head, the talking raven entertained our 3 year old, & us, and there's plenty of owls, birds of prey, and other birds to see with informative information boards at each exhibit. Everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves, including the staff. There's a picnic area with plenty of seating and a peaceful pond/lake. There are toilets at the entrance and hand sanitizer throughout. Parking was a bit tight, but we got a place - it was a busy afternoon, the display area was full of visitors at 12.30. The kids found a few souvenirs in the shop to spend their holiday spends on. All in all, a brilliant attraction for all ages.

For my birthday earlier this year my partner got me a falconing for a day experience. We used this at the end of September. This was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend we were helped by volunteers Will, Will, Roy and John on the day. We had such a great time the volunteers made sure we were able to take pictures and get the most out of the experience. We stayed there for a good 3 hours plus, you can take drinks and snacks and have these whilst the birds are being swapped over. I learnt so much and had such a wonderful day. We were fortunate enough to hold many of the beautiful birds of prey there as well as feed and fly some. For anyone who likes birds of prey this is a must.

Absolutely amazing experience, the volunteers clearly work very hard, and really love all the birds. My son is autistic and Owls are his special interest.... needless to say it was the best day of his life! we will be back soon, thank you

This volunteer run sanctuary is definitely worth a visit. Everyone there is very compassionate about the animals, almost all of which are rescues. They were very eager to answer questions, and we learned a great deal about the different species of owls, hawks, and other birds that inhabit the area. It was fascinating to see them in flight, and how the different handlers had a unique rapport with their favored bird. It's a great cause run by fantastic people.
