Nice clean area. We always enjoy coming here to watch the bald eagles at Starved rock. Unfortunately, the building has been closed due to Covid but can still walk up to the viewing deck.

Closed but walkway is open. Still very cool to watch the boats go thru the locks. Not to mention EAGLES!

Unfortunately the center was closed because of Covid19. The locks were interesting. Will come back some other time.

Not as I thought. Illinois parks needs to get more developed. Lack of info at location and the maps were very poor detailed. Web site pictures don't exist there. I was really shocked. reply to the owners query\u003e where the stoned surrounding beautiful spot was not given on the posted maps on location. walked halfway came back not seeing the sight. very disapointed.

The visitor center is closed due to the Pandemic. The observation deck is opened. Saw 3 eagles on 2-12-2021.
