I have an important letter which must be handed in to the jobcentre. I visited this one today and was told that because of Covid-19 they will not take the letter off me to give to the correct department. But they will take it off me to photocopy it so I can post a copy and keep a copy. Can you imagine a world where this illogical behaviour is acceptable? The power of independent thought is non existent it seems.

You are told to arrive five minutes early but sadly the place is severely understaffed and often you will wait 20-30 minutes to be seen. The staff range from helpful and understanding to frustrated and apathetic. It really depends who you end up being seen by.
Sanction centre ,they just force you into cheap agency contracts not real jobs at all ,it's degrading.The staff should be in court the way they slander claiments,example,i was told i was scrounging off the taxpayers after being a carer for my mum who had sadly passed away.Funny i wasn't scrounging then saving the taxpayers in putting my mum in a care home
Hate the place! If i could give 0 stars i would! Soon as ur in the door gng up for ur appointment theyre on you! Cannot go up together and cannot sign together if you make joint claim..yet when we went in there was a couple who couldnt hardly speak english, got asked if they sign together..they said yes & was allowed up TOGETHER yet we was made to wait downstairs n i had to go outside while he went up to sign! Jobsworths that work here. Ive only ever been in there 3 times (2 times for less than 2mnths & 3rd time longer) hated it every time! One of my advisors i asked to be moved from coz he was a horrible person, dont know how half of these get jobs..and tbf if everyone in there had a job...they wouldnt! Nothing good to say. Never have helped me even get a job.
