I ordered a cab to pick me up at 5:30 in the morning. Everything seemed to be going great when I received a message telling me the cab had been dispatched an hour before my pickup time. At 5:30, I could not see the cab. I followed the link provided to check its location and it was 15 minutes away!! I called to understand what was going on and was greeted by a rude person who told me that I could just cancel if I was not happy. And so I did! We don't ask much from taxis. But one key criteria is to be on time, especially when it's 5:30am on a Saturday to get a flight at the airport. First and last time I work with this company.

Ordered a cab to the airport at short notice, and it was cheaper than competitors. Driver helped with the bags, the card was spotless, and the drive was smooth and steady. Will definitely use again.

Taking more than twice the time to arrive for pick up!! I'm sure there are comedy sketches that depict the minicab service base operator telling countless customers that their cab is 'just five minutes away' only for those five minutes to turn to ten, fifteen, twenty minutes. That has been my experience with NW Cars when I was told it would take 15 minutes for them to arrive and pick me up only for them to take 35 minutes. If I didn't anywhere urgent to go I wouldn't have minded. However, I gave them prior notice that I had to be in Victoria and that it would be fine if they were going to be the 10-15 minutes they claimed they would be. Having missed my coach and being stuck in Victoria for 8 hours until the next available coach I was offered a sum off my next trip with them. I didn't bother accepting because their inability to stick to the time they claimed they would stick to is not the first time I've experienced a below par service from them. A week prior, they were again double the time it took to collect from Golders Green. I'm starting to think you need to double the time they say they will be there to pick you up to come close to the reality! It really isn't rocket science why Uber is absolutely smashing the cab service industry. The others are not putting up much of a fight by NW Cars standards.
