Went for runs on several of the trails. Good scenery and trails are well kept. There are fishing piers and boat rentals as well as camping available.

I didn't know what to expect coming to the park as a transplant but what an experience! The trailhead has enough to see and do to make a great experience. A doe and her three fawns flirted with everyone on the trailhead. The turtles and fish were everywhere in the water and the views from the bridge were gorgeous in any direction. A great place to enjoy nature and fitness with the trails!
