There's a small amount of parking right by the footpath, or it's a reasonable walk from Todmorden, although some along a narrow road. Once there, it's pretty easy going unless it's been raining a great deal, when it can be quite muddy especially near the road. Fine once you get to the stones though. The stones themselves are very atmospheric and there are great views too. Fun and pretty safe for kids - and dogs - to explore! You'll tend not to find more than one or two other people there, at most, unless it's an especially sunny day.

Lovely place for a scramble on the rocks, not too far a walk from the on road parking. Bigger area than it looks
Lovely place for a quick walk. Great views over Todmorden and the Calder Valley. Plenty more moorland to walk if you want a longer day out too.
Wonderful views and a really favourite place for our dog too. No worries about off lead.
