We have been taking lessons with Hudson Valley Swim off and on for 8 years. Currently, my kids (ages 6 and 10) are both in lessons with Sean. Sean mixes high expectations, with a lot of fun. It also helps that he actually demonstrates what he wants them to do by showing them himself (he’s not afraid to get his hair wet!). We are thrilled with our kids progress. I’ve also been impressed with the other instructors who work with special needs kids (during my children’s lessons) their compassion and know-how is beautiful to watch. Last, the director of the program is really personable and easy to talk to when I have questions/concerns.

My wife took our daughter to swim lessons over the summer and they loved it. The instructor was so nice and really helpful when our daughter was freaking out the first couple of classes. We are definitely doing swim lessons again this summer.

My 2 year old daughter took swim this summer at the tennis club in wappingers with Emily. Emily was an amazing teacher and had alot of patience with the children that were afraid of the water. All of them by the end felt confident enough to go under the water. My daughter was not afraid of the water and going under, Emily helped her build the confidence to swim under water. It was a great experience.
