Very hit and miss with their fish and service, Can be waiting 2 mins or 2 hours depending on whether the girls fancy a chat instead of serving, But when fast service and good fish can't fault it. and good range of food.

Excellent chips again tonight. Chicken curry gets a 10 out of 10. And the pies are the much more expensive and better pukka pies. All on all a very enjoyable meal. And it saves the cooking and washing up which is a good bonus

This chippy was our regular lunch time stop on Fridays and through the week Occasionally for a long time. Food used to be fairly good. However, since new ownership, prices have gone up and quality of food has gone down drastically. Sausage is like eating cotton wool, dry and flavourless, much like the chips.... City prices for Poor quality food, which sometimes is under cooked. The TVs look nice but were not needed...they just make it harder to read the menus and specials when the screens change. We will be going to Fish Kitchen 1854 in Maesycwmer in future, we dont mind paying a little more as long as we get good quality food etc...That said, Cheese chips and sauce cost almost half the price with triple the quality AND quantity at Fish Kitchen, much better service too! Also, every time we had food here, it resulted in dodgy stomachs. Dread to think what the kebabs will do to people. Simply put, it is no longer a Chippy. More like Shi**y. Literally.
