I was sad when I saw that the original opening with the date from the 1800's carved into it was gone. That was a beautiful part of history that they just wiped away. The trail was absolutely lovely though. There's lots of wildlife, deer, ground hogs, Chipmunks, and I even saw a cat. The views are beautiful and the trail is well paved and wide. There's plenty if room for a group to walk and for bikes and strollers. I only wish it we're open to four wheelers. I definitely recommend bringing your kids or riding your bike here. Also, when you exit the tunnel, heading towards South Bethlehem make a sharp right turn. There's a small path into the woods that leads to the water. You can sit on a large rock and look at the water!
