Fantastic EU link. Very fast channel crossing. Practical for car/bike drivers. Pricing isn’t always great and it’s hard to find the constantly advertised “low prices” despite flexible date searches. Poor COVID-19 management. Basically shut all on board loos rather than increasing cleaning. Poor effort!

I prefer the ferry because my young boys love it , but due to covid it's much safer and it's quicker , helpful and friendly staff
It is no wonder that in the world wonders list, that was published by the American Civil Engineering Association in 1994, which included geometrical sites that changed the lives of people around the world, the historic English channel (channel tunnel) has made it to the seventh place, thanks to the miraculous tunnel linking Britain and France. About 30 years ago, when I resided in England, and we wanted to make our way from Britain to France or Belgium, we did it by ship, which took several hours. Today, the story is entirely different: what used to be a journey of no less than five hours from the British mainland to the French continent, regardless of the time it takes to leave your house to the destination, is done today in just about a half an hour and not by boat but by train. Well, it's not exactly what you think or rather already you know: this is an extraordinary train - A huge train that can carry private cars, vans and trucks. While under water you don't really see anything and you stay in your vehicle until the destination, but the scenery at the British side and at Calais on the French side is beautiful and the ride is fast and amazing.
I must start by saying that this is my preferred way to travel. Easy, safe and stress-free booking process, free ammendments (if trip cost is the same as when booked originally) great customer service team and the facilities at both terminals are great too. Once on board of the train, in no time you are on the other side in another country. Love it.
We really enjoy travelling with Eurotunnel, staff are always friendly and very helpful. Very flexible with bookings.
