Nice place to visit and get to know our old history and temples.

A good insight into Malta's long history. A wide variety of exhibitions from Phenecians to the British empire. It's worth getting the audio guide to get more in depth information. A big collection of coins from different historical periods. It's a good place to spend whilst on the island. Immerse yourself into the island's history. Two floors with exhibitions in a nice building used by the knights

A really great place to learn about some of the historical items of Malta. The staff need to be a bit more friendly but all in all reall educational.

National museum of archaeology in Malta is located in the centre of Valetta for easy access. The museum is quite traditional, with static artefacts taking you though the archaeological times in Malta. Whilst it is educational, it is more of a rainy day museum and not really suited for children. Worth a visit though!

We didn't get to see the insane but there was this really breathtaking entrance where we just had to make a few pictures. This big entrance really makes up for an eye catcher at this square. Our planning didn't include the Museum but if we had known we were walking right past it we would sure have made our visit. I'll include just a few other pictures of close by the entrance to give you a general idea of how beautiful the location is.

We visited St Elmo and St Angelo and they are magnificent. Well done heritage Malta. This place needs to be resorted like you did in other places.

There are several museums here but the most important would be National Archaeological Museum, which holds all the precious find of Hal Safleni Hypogeum and Megalithic Temples.

My visit was a little disappointing. For a national museum I had higher expectations. I did enjoy their coin colletion. The cost is reasonable so if you have an hour to spare it's worth it if you are into the prehistoric stuff.
