Calm, peaceful and friendly environment. The yard is ran by Professional knowledgeable owners, who IF needed would readily assist and help meet you and your horses requirements. Muirhead is one of those little hidden gems, set within miles of unspoilt countryside giving us plenty off road hacking opportunities. I would also hack out to the beach at Kingsbarns regularly. We enjoyed being out and about most days in the long summer months. And we enjoyed full use of the indoor school arena in the winter. My daughter and I also took lessons with Matthew where we flourished and learned to ride properly! Our confidence grew whilst at the yard and we bought a youngster to bring on ourselves. Whilst keeping him at Muirhead. This small friendly yard is by far the closest to feeling I had to feeling I had a horse at my own place, and I will miss being there. Where support, IF and when sought was always given in a professional manner. I had to leave my horse on full livery for a few weeks while I moved house during this time Mathew broke him in to ride. My horse was cared for and treated just as their own. Mattew was dedicated to producing my youngster to a very high standrard, and ensured he was fit and ready to continue the work we had planned. I cannot Thank the Team at Muirhead enough.
