All I can say is amazing. John will happily answer any question you ask him. He was telling us about all about different types of interesting things like the different stars and the jewellery box (a group of stars faintly coloured). Highly recommend. Would definitely go again

We had wanted to come to Mudgee Observatory but was quite sadden that all the tours had been booked out weeks ahead. (Make sure you book in early if you're planning a trip here). Thankfully, John was super nice and showed us around during the day. We even got to see some solar flares with the telescopes! Definitely a highlight of our trip. Do make sure you book ahead so you won't miss out!
John and Pat will welcome you in their kingdom. John is such a humble but passionate guy... and what a way to communicate his passion. It is a must do when visiting Mudgee. Make sure to book ahead. We saw the moon of course, Jupiter and 3 it of its 4 mind, Saturn and its ring, Mars and much much more... Book ahead... We told you so!
A cosy, intimate and relaxed set up. John was brilliant at explaining all the stars and how things worked. He was happy to answer any questions we had. The backyard set up was so different to any experience I've had, we absolutely loved it. Well worth a trip, would do it again
It is a great experience. Price is good. John is nice fellow, will come back for next visit.
Great night with John star gazing. John was very knowledgeable. Hot cuppa and a biscuit to keep you warm. Small group. Not long to wait. Nice slide show and a few laughs to end an enjoyable night on.
John was great, has a good sense of humour too we had a wonderful experience.
Fantastic experience. John is amazing with the knowledge and passion he has for all things to do with astronomy. It helped that we had the perfect night as well.
