An amazing gym & community! I cannot wait for the restrictions to be lifted so that I can go back to Movement U! Great instructors, fabulous classes, a very unique and diverse offering (i love their spin and yoga classes) Definitely worth checking out

Movement U is one of the most diverse studios that we’ve come across in Calgary yet. They offer both slower, low-impact and restorative classes like MOVEMENT RECOVERY and YOGA, complimented by balls-to-the-wall hardcore classes like SPIN, HIIT, MOVMT, and ROW. They appeal to the working professional crowd, given their convenient location and quality classes taught by highly technically trained instructors. They’ve truly mastered the balance of hardcore and chill while keeping the vibe cool and totally accepting.
Fantastic boutique gym. I tried out all different types of classes but Spin and HIIT were my absolute favourite. Always left sweaty and delirious in a good way. Love a workout that keeps me buzzing and makes it tough for me to get out of bed the next day. Super friendly front desk team and I live for Erica and Mel's Spin Twin Friday classes.
This is the best gym I have been to HANDS DOWN! So clean, especially during times like this! The staff is energetic and supportive. Cant wait for my next class!
I have been going to Movement U for the past few years and have always left feeling stronger than when I walked in. During the Saga of Covid, a few of my passes came up for expiry. I reached out to the Studio and Michael M was super accommodating in providing an alternative solution to the in studio classes (big thank you!!). I feel lucky that I can workout safely at home while attending the online, virtual classes that MU offers (they are bomb btw). This review is long overdue however I wanted to note that as a long time client of the Studio, I have always felt like a valued member of the MU Community and I can’t wait until Covid is over so I can visit again in person!!
