Loads of brilliant animals. Clearly well looked after. Great for children and adults. We spent 4 hours there and it flew by. Watching the animals is good for the soul in these crazy times. Covid measures are spot on!

A wonderful visit. Pre-book essential but great because it limits numbers. The enclosures are good sizes. The otters were lively and vocal! Loved petting the donkeys and horses. The snow leopards are spectacular - they look settled and healthy. We ambled for 2 hours. Definetly worth a visit. Staff were friendly and happy to talk about the animals and future plans for extensions etc. Thank you all we had a wonderful time

Absolutely amazing Zoo, I can’t believe how much it has grown over the years. My family were there for 4 hours and left without seeing everything so well worth the price. Social distancing was also well done and thought out.

It's a lovely mellow place. With some very friendly animals. The goats and donkeys in particular will demand attention and cuddles. The otters are optimists and run across as they see an adult! Then get all huffy when they realise there's no food forthcoming. The lynx and wildcat are more elusive. The arctic foxes are sublime. You can walk amongst sunbathing wallabies, and I guess during "normal" times do the same with the Lemurs. There's a notional one way system, but you can go round again and again. Mech heads will like the tractor museum. The shop is full of stuffed animals, most of which are unique to the Zoo. The cafe had a limited hot food selection, but at this time of year that's not a surprise. What I had was good quality and value. Would certainly go again. Oh and say hello to the bears.

While I wouldn't call this a proper Zoo more of a Farm Park plus it doesnt detract from the excellent experience had while there. We managed to see all most all of the animals and got so lovely photos as well as a great chat with some of the keepers.

Northumberland Zoo is a great day out, and are continually improving the site. This is Not like a ZSL zoo or Edinburgh this a small independent zoo which is great for kids and takes maybe 2-4 hours to see all the animals. They have a fantastic restaurant and play parks. The cost is minimal only 9.95 per adult and tickets can only purchased online currently. I would fully recommend an encounter they are a fantastic way to interact with the animals. This can be with the Meerkats, Lynx, Raccoon Cabybara, and more. The keepers have a lot of knowledge and have often came from larger wildlife parks. Anyone concerned about Covid the zoo has implemented some great changes . Oneway system, sanitisation and masks indoors. Look out for there yellow truck off the A1 just north of Morpeth.

Social distancing measures & hygiene stations very good. Lots to see in a couple of hours walking so ideal for younger visitors. Plenty of places for picnics with a very reasonable cafe. My 8 year old granddaughter loved it. Will visit again

Lovely zoo! Really enjoyed the visit, seen loads of animals I didn't see before. The lady at reception was super nice and welcoming, told us really nicely about all the covid rules without making us feel awkward; thank you! Highly recommend!
