I was extremely excited to be able to come to Mr J's establishment only to find out that arriving at 1:40am I was refused service and doors are locked . This gentleman pictured here told me he wants to sleep and they are closed at 2am. Very sad as this business would have earned business for 6 customers. Sorry Mr. J You should hire more motivated employees to make your out of town customers happy.

Been eating here since 1984. Dagwoods, deep fried chicken sandwiches, chipped steak, polish on the grill, is the best!!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!

Mr J's #1 and #10 are my absolute favorite. They are fast and the food is always delicious. I have been going there since 1981, never disappointed
The food was very good here! Although most orders were carry outs, our party of 6 dined in. The food was reasonably priced, especially for Downtown Chicago. We had gyros specials, hot dogs, and Burgers. They were very generous with fries. Can’t wait to go back. The place was very clean and organized.
