If you are going to an Army recruiter and you live in the Tampa area I would definitely recommend Sergeant First Class Blackmon. He told me everything that I should expect when I was joining the Army. I could tell that he had my best interest when signing me up. He was also honest about the expectations that the Army has. Thank you for helping me through every step of the recruiting process from the physical expectations and the documents that needed to be completed. He went above and beyond. He is at the 6800 N. Dale Mabry Hwy Location.

I have the most amazing & professional recruiter, SFC Blackmon. He was patient, understanding, encouraging, informative and compassionate.. I am a single mother and the scariest part when I decided to join was to leave my children and Blackmon encouraged me to see the bigger picture. I have no regret in joining. I’ve been trying to join the military for a few years. I went to a recruiter from all branches they brushed me off and never gave me the time of day because i didn’t want a job they had to fill. This station was different and awesome! They gave me as much time as I needed and listened to what I wanted and tried their best to get me everything I wanted. Absolutely no pressure from anybody to do anything I didn’t want to! 10/10 I would recommend this station to anybody wishing to serve.
